Instant Kerb Appeal

Creating instant kerb appeal

Housing estate
Whether you’re looking to sell your home or just want to add a bit of pizzazz to be the envy of your neighbours, we’ve got some great tips here to help improve the kerb appeal of your home without breaking the bank…

Paint your front door

The front door is one of the first things people see, so by giving it a lick of paint you can drastically improve the look – removing flaky paint and prepping well before painting will ensure a smooth finish that will look great. If you’re looking to sell then a neutral colour would work best, but if you wish to make a statement there are some amazing, bright bold colours to choose from so you can really put your stamp on it

New door furniture

So you’ve got a lovely new colour, the next thing to do is replace the wonky door knocker and letterbox with the missing front! Stylish chrome, silver, gold or black door furniture can really make a difference, again then is a myriad of choices out there, you can take a look our range in our showroom for some inspiration if you like. And don’t forget the door number – getting an attractive and easy to see door number means it will be much easier for people to find you (unless you prefer not to be found of course!).

Pressure wash the path & driveway

Whether its slabs, bricks or tile, your path & driveway will be transformed with a quick blast with a pressure washer. If you don’t have one you can hire one quite cheaply from your local hire shop. You’ll be amazed at the difference it will make and it will ensure any potential buyers like what they see as well.

Weed the garden & cut the grass

It may seem obvious but a well kept garden gives the impression that the home is well kept inside as well – first impressions are everything after all! So get those weeds out of the garden and give the grass a fresh mow for a quick & best of all free instant transformation.

Want to go that extra mile?

Then some hanging baskets or pot plants (with pretty flowers not weeds!) will help, and for the ultimate transformation a new front door from our stunning range could be just what you are looking for!
